Innovative virtual comedy cassette developed during the Savanna lockdown to assist the SA comedy industry during the lockdown rollout. The brand partnered with Comedy Central, the global comedy authority that perfected the Comedy Central Live format, its first season on television in a virtual environment, last October.

The show was an immediate hit and was nominated for Best Variety Show at the 2021 South African Film and Television Awards (Safety). This season features SA’s most famous comedians, the leading segments in each episode focusing on political love and blockades.

Each episode features sketches of potential fans’ pets, featuring graphics that fans are sure to know and love. Regarding her participation in the show, Tumi said she was delighted to perform with some of the best comedians in the business.

“I run my own business in America and call. So I thought, after all this virtual screening, why not get it on TV? I am in an outstanding company. “Comedy is rushed, and every opportunity to play is an opportunity to grow and have fun,” he said.

Tumi says she is pleased filming the last episode. “This set is a gamble, rough around the edges, disgusting. “Tumi is having fun again, and it’s a comedy! I think the audience will decide in the end, but I had a lot of fun filming, and I think my fans will enjoy it,” he said.
