- Kim Kardashian West shuts down KKW Beauty and starts “totally brand new” in the coming months.
The 40-year-old star urged fans to say goodbye to her cosmetics line, which she founded in 2017, as she wants to continue the line as a “completely new brand” in the coming months. She said in a statement she shared on her social media accounts, “For our loyal consumers, it all began with a contour kit and over the last four years has grown to include eyes, lips, bodies, and a multitude of unique collections.
“At midnight August 1st, we will be closing KKWBeauty.com so we can get back to you under an entirely new brand with a new formula that is more modern, innovative, and packaged in a new, sublime, and sustainable look.”
The “Keeping up by the Kardashians” star teased that they would “develop and expand” their product range and enhance their online shopping experience. She added, “I’m excited for my range of products to develop and expand. So you can finally experience it the way I always imagined.
“Also, my team is working hard to improve the customer experience when they shop where they can buy my beauty and cosmetic offerings across all categories on one website,” Kim promised fans that she wouldn’t have to wait too long to see what she had planned.
He concluded, “Thank you for being with me on this wonderful journey, and I promise we won’t be gone for too long.” Despite the speculation, the change was due to Kim dropping her name after breaking up with her husband Kanye West – the father of their four children – earlier this year. However, sources have told TMZ that no and he has no plans to change his nickname.
